ProblemVisuals and feedback play a critical role in how designers process information. AI note-taking apps have partially improved designers’ workflow and efficiency. However, AI-generated text walls, messy recordings, and random screenshots often leave them feeling overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in missed insights and less productive workflows.

NeedA streamlined workflow tool for capturing and organizing key moments from meetings, with AI-powered insights and references to help designers act on feedback and drive projects ahead more efficiently.

How did I Define the Problem Users Are Facing?

User Research

85%

of designers prefer feedback that includes visual references to better understand and implement suggestions.

66.7%

of designers use AI note-taking in their work but only for summaries, as it often fails to capture the nuances of conversation and can be inaccurate.

Need & Pain Points01
Less time spent rewatching meetings

Designers often waste valuable time rewatching long meeting recordings just to find specific feedback or key visuals. They need a faster way to capture and retrieve important moments.
02
More efficient reflection on design feedback

Processing feedback and searching for references can be time-consuming. Designers need an organized, intuitive system to streamline feedback and shorten their workflows.

Main Feature(s)01 Creating visual note

Why are the icons and bookmark methods different on the desktop and mobile versions?

The easier and more intuitive method of making image bookmarks differs slightly, such as users taking a photo with a phone or capturing a screenshot on a desktop.

02 Creating visual note

Why is there no AI reference feature
in the plug-in version?

Browsing references during meetings can be distracting and may lack complete data to generate an accurate reference list, so the list is available on both desktop and mobile homepages.

Key Takeaway(s) __Even when users seek the same results, their interactions can differ depending on the platform and situation. Especially when users must focus on other priorities, they need interactions that are intuitive, simple, and aligned with their situation and needs to enable quick and effortless engagement.

__Small visual cues, such as indicators for visual notes or recordings in progress, can provide valuable confirmation of users’ actions. These subtle signals help users stay aware of what’s happening in the system, reduce uncertainty, and build trust in the interaction.
